A technology invention must be new. You should conduct a prior art search to make sure your invention fulfills this requirement.
Self assessment
You may want to carefully assess whether your invention is worth accreditation. Here are some factors you may wish to consider:
● Costs of accreditation application
● Commercial worth of your technology
● Financial and licensing issues
● Time and effort in pursuing patent and protection
● Complexities of applying for a accreditation and requisite knowledge and experience in the area
● IP protection strategy
Technology Specification
Amongst all the forms and documents required during the accreditation application process, the technology specification should be the most complex and important one. A technology specification includes the following sections:
"Description" of your invention which describes the invention and explains a technical problem that your invention solves, and what it does.
"Drawings" which illustrate the features of your invention.
Your application must include:
● treatment of combustion products
● test reports on at least 3 biomass sources
● biochar laboratory report
Accreditation key requirements
