BidCarbon Standard Scheme

The BidCarbon Standard Scheme is structurally robust and includes provisions for frequent review and enhancement. To ensure the credibility of the scheme, the Board of Trustees has appointed a Technical Governance Committee of five impartial specialists representing different fields, scientific domains, and institutions to examine BidCarbon removal units (BRUs) within the BidCarbon Standard Scheme. To ensure geographic and gender equilibrium, the chosen experts come from varied backgrounds. The panel has proposed multiple modifications to improve the governance, transparency, and positive outcomes of the project. These changes include the introduction of Non-carbon benefits and an overall increase in confidence in the scheme.
