Our role
We administer the eligibility for biochar production systems as follows:
● ensuring scheme compliance
● reviewing AWT facility applications
● managing system inspections
● keeping the register of accredited AWT facility
● educating industry on how the scheme works
● taking compliance action where necessary.
The Technical Governance Committee (TGC) oversees the eligibility and approval of facilities for use within an method.
