About Us

The BidCarbon Foundation, based in the United Kingdom, leverages the country’s influence on global standards and the emerging market for data assets in China to establish rigorous environmental and social benchmarks.

Only projects that meet the requirements of the BidCarbon Standard Scheme are eligible to receive BidCarbon Removal Units (BRUs), thereby ensuring the integrity of the system.

BidCarbon Removal Units (BRUs) represent high-integrity carbon credits that are aligned with internationally recognised standards and widely accepted carbon principles, and are applicable to projects across jurisdictions.

The Foundation’s objective is to advance sustainability through the development of trusted partnerships. It seeks to facilitate collaborative action to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy and support long-term environmental resilience.
