Who we are

Last updated 2 May 2024

Joon is a young scholar who is actively engaged in the field of climate economics and a passionate advocate of high-altitude nuclear radiation mutagenesis breeding. By blending climate economics with legal research, he focuses on exploring the intersection of sustainable development and regulatory compliance in a truly captivating manner. His experience in the realm of high-altitude nuclear radiation mutagenesis breeding technology has been a tremendous success! He has successfully mutagenised a "new variety of Acetobacter acetobacter" in the United States! This innovation utilises agricultural waste as nutrients to produce more carbon dioxide products.

Together with a group of truly remarkable individuals, he played a key role in the establishment of the BidCarbon Standard Scheme in October 2023. This scheme is one of the internationally independent greenhouse gas standards, with a focus on carbon agriculture. In addition to his unwavering pursuit of environmental sustainability, his achievements serve as an inspiration to us all, encouraging us to continue striving for a better future.

The BidCarbon Foundation is fully dedicated to the International Civil Aviation Organization's CORSIA programme. We have made significant progress in the pilot and initial phases, diligently working to meet the stringent standards set by the Integrity Council for Voluntary Carbon Markets (ICVCM).

The BidCarbon Foundation is committed to working with countries, standards and stakeholders to issue highly credible emission reductions, carbon credits and removals, with the aim of helping the world to achieve its net-zero targets.

We firmly believe that carbon markets can play a vital role in driving climate action, promoting sustainable development, and benefiting communities and societies worldwide.
