GHGR rules and requirements

The Greenhouse Gas Reporting Standard 2025 (GHGR Standard) establishes a voluntary framework for the GHGR Scheme, which is a framework for reporting greenhouse gas emissions, greenhouse gas projects and energy consumption and production by Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage projects.

Several rules and requirements sit under the GHGR Standard, which provide greater detail about corporations' obligations. The purpose of each of these rules and requirements is described below.
