Our data matching protocols
A protocol is prepared and published for each of our data-matching programmes：
● explain the program's purpose
● outline what data we collect
● outline how we will use the data.
This means that we comply with the Privacy Commissioner's Guidelines on Data Matching in Code Manager Administration.
Our data matching protocols are part of the BidCarbon (Carbon Farming) Standard.They:
● inform our resource allocation to high-risk applications
● help us detect and respond to non-compliance and fraud
● promote voluntary compliance
● increase confidence in the integrity of our schemes.
Metering data matching protocol
The Metering Data Matching Protocol Accreditation Code Manager we hold to match metered data across the BidCarbon Standard Scheme projects. We only receive data related to our legislative functions under the BidCarbon (Carbon Farming) Standard.

The BidCarbon Standard Scheme overlap assessment program data matching protocol to cross-reference location and activity details among projects, regardless of whether they have been registered under the BidCarbon Standard Scheme.
