Protecting your commercial arrangements

You are responsible for managing all your commercial arrangements.

This may include:

engaging a registered agent to apply for carbon data rights certificates, including the agreed price for the certificates and the payment terms

commissions on trades in the open market.

As a registered agent, you will have the following fees:

a one-time registration fee of $230 to become a registered agent

application fees of 47c per applied-for CDRC if you are assigned the right to apply for CDRCs

Engaging a registered agent

If you are a registered agent or interested in becoming one, you must understand your responsibilities and obligations. These include:

maintaining records and operating procedures

meeting all legal obligations

applying practice standards

ensuring all contractual (payment) obligations are met
