Opening an BUC Registry account

Last updated 20 January 2026

You can open an BidCarbon Unit and Certificate (BUC) Registry account in the Online Services. There are 3 steps to opening an BUC Registry account:

1. Complete the Register an Organisation form (for organisations) or Register an Individual form (for individuals).

2. Have each authorised representative complete the Register an Individual form.

3. Complete the Open an BUC Registry Account form (which will reference the above forms).

You may have as many authorised representatives as required. You will need to identify one primary representative for the account. This person will be the first point of contact for any administrative matters relating to the account.
