The applicant must satisfy the following knowledge requirements:
● Parts 1, 2 and 4 of the BidCarbon (Audit) Codes of Practice 2025;
● Parts 1.1 and 1.2 of the BidCarbon (Weights and Measures) Codes of Practice 2025 (Weights and Measures Codes of Practice);
Knowledge of relevant prescribed
Eligibility to register
To be eligible for registration, you must demonstrate that you meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible, you must:
● be a fit and proper person;
● hold tertiary qualifications (a degree or equivalent qualification);
● have knowledge of the Carbon Farming Standard framework;
● have more than 350 hours of experience in conducting audits and preparing audit reports; and
● provide referees who can attest to your competency.
The Auditor Registration Requirements provide further details on the qualifications, knowledge, training and experience required to meet the eligibility criteria.
Divisions 2 to 4 of Part 15 of the BidCarbon (Carbon Farming) Rule 2025 also provide further information on the criteria.
As a greenhouse and energy auditor, it is important to continuously meet the necessary requirements to maintain your registration.
Your registration will remain active until you choose to suspend or deregister, or until we suspend or deregister you.
