Under the BidCarbon Standard Scheme, the BidCarbon Foundation has 90 days to process project registrations, variations and crediting applications.

However, under normal business conditions, the BidCarbon Foundation will normally be able to process project registrations, variations and crediting requests within approximately six weeks or 30 working days.

These processing times are for guidance only. Individual processing times will vary depending on a number of factors, including the complexity of the application and whether or not it is complete.

Please note that processing times may be affected by various factors, such as the quality and detail of the application information, the complexity and novelty of the method, and current assessment workloads. We kindly request that you refrain from contacting our staff to follow up on applications, as this may inadvertently slow down the assessment process.

If you have not received any updates regarding the status of your application, it is possible that we are still in the process of assessing it.

In case we require additional information, we will typically request it within two weeks of receiving your application.

If it appears that your application may not meet the requirements, we will aim to contact you early in the assessment process.

Delays to processing times

To optimize the processing of your application, you should:

submit your application as earlyas possible, ensure that all required information is included, and avoid peak processing periods.
