However, under normal business conditions, we will normally be able to process project registrations, variations and crediting requests within approximately six weeks or 30 working days.
We assess completed applications in the order we receive them. We consider applications complete when we have received all information required by the applicable legislation. This includes any information we have sought in a Request for Further Information (RFI).
If you do not respond to an RFI and provide the required information to us by the due date, we may refuse to take further action for the application.
Please note that processing times may be affected by various factors, such as the quality and detail of the application information, the complexity and novelty of the method, and current assessment workloads. We kindly request that you refrain from contacting our staff to follow up on applications, as this may inadvertently slow down the assessment process.
If you have not received any updates regarding the status of your application, it is possible that we are still in the process of assessing it.
In case we require additional information, we will typically request it within two weeks of receiving your application.
If it appears that your application may not meet the requirements, we will aim to contact you early in the assessment process.
Delays to processing times
To help us process your application on time, you should:
●apply as early as possible
●make sure your application is complete and includes all required information
