Governance guidance aims to help you understand and comply with the relevant requirements the scheme. We use governance guidance to:
● explain how we interpret those requirements, including the specific rights we might exercise under them
● describe the principles underlying our approach to applying those requirements provide practical examples of complying with those requirements, including how project proponents can meet their obligations
● explain the specific compliance tools we use and when we’re likely to use them.
Our guidance falls under two broad categories:
Governance – helps stakeholders maintain compliance with our schemes' requirements, but does not constitute legal advice.
Educational – provides general information to help people participate in the scheme, such as method guides.
