Knowledge of relevant prescribed

The applicant must possess relevant knowledge of the following standards or rules:

Section 7, Subdivision G of Division 4 of Part 6 of the GHGR Standard;

Part 1.1, Chapter 2, Schedule 1 of the Weights and Measures Codes of Practice;

Parts 1–4 of the Audit Codes of Practice;

Parts 1–3, 6, 9, 17 and 19 of the Carbon Farming Standard;

Parts 1–3, 6 and 13 of the Carbon Farming Rule;

any methodology.

To be eligible for registration, you must demonstrate that you meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible, you must:

be a fit and proper person

have tertiary qualifications (a degree or equivalent)

know the rules and standard framework administered by us

know of relevant prescribed

have over 200 hours of experience in auditing and preparing audit reports

provide referees who can attest to your competency.

Eligibility to register

As a greenhouse and energy auditor, it is important to continuously meet the necessary requirements to maintain your registration.

Your registration will remain active until you choose to suspend or deregister, or until we suspend or deregister you.
