Notices

Any changes to the contract or other communications in connection with the contract must be made by notice under the contract.

A notice from the seller to the BidCarbon Climate Trading Company  under the contract must be provided in writing and:

● if given by you (or your authorised representative) to the BidCarbon Climate Trading Company – be addressed (and marked for attention) as specified in clause 13.2 of the code of common terms or as otherwise notified by the BidCarbon Climate Trading Company

● if given by the BidCarbon Climate Trading Company to the you (or your authorised representative) – be addressed (and marked for attention) as specified in Item 7 of the commercial terms or as otherwise notified by you.

A notice must be:

● signed by the person giving the notice and delivered by hand, or

● signed by the person giving the notice and sent by pre-paid post, or

● stated to be signed by the person giving the notice and transmitted by email.

A notice under the contract that you give to the BidCarbon Climate Trading Company must be addressed to:

“Carbon Removal Contracts”

and sent to:

A notice comes into effect:

● if delivered by hand – upon delivery to the relevant address

● if sent by post – on the business day after the end of five days after the date on which it was sent

● if transmitted electronically – upon actual receipt by the addressee’s electronic mailbox.

A notice received after 5pm, or on a day that is not a business day in the place of receipt, is deemed to be effected on the next business day in that place.
