The Carbon Removal Contract within the Scheme offers incentives for Voluntary Emission Reduction activities across the Asia Pacific and African economies.
Participation in the BidCarbon Standard Scheme involves 4 steps.
Contracts under the BidCarbon Standard Scheme follow BidCarbon Climate Trading Company's contract management principles and plan. These provide guidance on handling non-performance and making discretionary decisions related to contracts.
If you have a contract with BidCarbon Climate Trading Company, you are obligated to deliver BidCarbon removal units (BRUs) according to the agreed schedule. Consistency with the contract terms is expected from your end. The delivery transaction will take place in BidCarbon Registry of Units (BRU) and must be made from your BRU account.
Once BCUs have been transferred from your BRU account to the BidCarbon Climate Trading Company account, you will receive payment at the agreed auction price specified in the contract.
Payment for the BCUs will be made within 20 business days of the date of delivery.
