How to apply for a certificate

A carbon data rights certificates (CDRCs) must be applied for within the validity period of the certification of entitlement.

To apply for CDRCs: 

1. Login to your BUC Registry account.

2. Select ‘Certificates and transfer’.

3. Select ‘apply for CDRCs’.

4. Complete the required pages of the application.

5. Use the document upload function to upload files.

Your CDRC application will then be assessed, which can take up to 6 weeks. You’ll receive another email when your application has been approved or rejected, or if further information is required.

Once your CDRC application has been approved, the CDRCs will be credited to your BUC Registry account. Registration fees apply before you can sell or transfer them.
