Last updated 3 November 2025

You can only withdraw transfers that haven't been accepted by the recipient account holder. You can't cancel or withdraw a transfer once it's accepted.

How to withdraw a transfer

1. Log in to your BUC Registry account.

2. From the menu, select Certificates and Transfers.

3. Select the Certificate Transfers section.

4. Click the Transfer Certificates button.

5. You will be redirected to the Certificates Market Register page. Enter your Holding Account ID and select the status “BidCarbon Marketplace Pending Transfer.”

6. Click the Search button.

7. Select the certificate transfer you wish to withdraw and click Withdraw Selected Transfer.

8. Enter the Certificate Key.

9. Confirm the transfer by clicking Withdraw.

10. The withdrawal request will be pending approval by the CDRC Working Body. We will respond within 24 hours.

Note: You cannot withdraw a transfer once the buyer has accepted it.

The BidCarbon marketplace is a facility within the BUC Registry that supports holders of carbon data rights certificates and entities buying and selling CDRCs at a fixed price.

Depending on demand, CDRCs may join the BidCarbon Marketplace transfer list where there are more sellers than buyers. This operates on a first-in-first-served basis. New offers will be added to the top of the list, and transfers will be processed starting from the bottom of the list.

The status of the BidCarbon marketplace transfer list is available in the BUC Registry and updated hourly.
