Enrolled legal practitioners

Updated by The BidCarbon Legal Team on 2 January 2025

A person can be considered an Prescribed person if, at the time they witness your statutory declaration, they are enrolled as a legal practitioner (however described) on the roll of either:

the Supreme Court of a state or territory, or

the High Court.

An enrolled legal practitioner does not need a practising certificate to witness a statutory declaration.
