Transferring CDRCs ownership

Last updated 3 November 2025

The new owner will take over the certificates and their position on the BidCarbon marketplace transfer list.

How to transfer CDRCs ownership

2. Select the 'certificates and transfer' menu heading

3. Select the 'certificate transfers' menu item

4. Select the 'transfer certificates' button

5. In the 'filter certificates' section, select 'CDRC' as the 'certificate type' and 'pending BidCarbon marketplace sale' as the 'status'

6. Select the 'filter' button

7. Enter the number of certificates to be transferred and the account they'll be transferred to.

8. Select the 'transfer certificates' button

You'll be redirected back to the certificate transfers page.

Withdrawing CDRCs for the BidCarbon marketplace

The BidCarbon marketplace is a facility within the BUC Registry that supports holders of carbon data rights certificates and entities buying and selling CDRCs at a fixed price.

Depending on demand, CDRCs may join the BidCarbon marketplace transfer list if there are more sellers than buyers. This is a first-in-first-served system, the latest offers are added to the bottom of the list.

The status of the BidCarbon marketplace transfer list is available in the BUC Registry and updated hourly.
