Reporting frequency

All BidCarbon Standard Scheme participants are required to regularly submit reports on their projects at regular intervals.

Reports may require an audit report if specified in the project's audit report schedule to verify the accuracy of reported abatement. All reports must be submitted online through the BidCarbon Project Report and Crediting Application via the Online Services.

Guidance on how to apply for BidCarbon removal units (BRUs) using the BidCarbon Standard Scheme Project Report and Crediting Application form can be found here.

For most projects, a minimum of three scheduled audits across the seven plus year crediting period is required.

All scheduled audits will need to establish reasonable assurance that the abatement achieved and reported on by a project is accurate.
