System Registry account

The System Registry is an online system for BidCarbon Standard Scheme participants to create certificates.

There are 4 types of System Registry accounts. Each account has different permissions. They all perform various activities and functions in the System Registry. It's your responsibility to set up the right account.

Some accounts have registration fees.

Before you apply, you need to identify the type of account you need.

Types of accounts

To apply for a System Registry account:

● identify the type of account you need

● register for an Online Services account

● provide proof of identity

● provide a legal name for the account

● follow the eligibility requirements for the System Registry account you want.

Verify identity

You're required to verify your identity while completing your registration form. You can either:

● use digital identity verification

● upload certified copies of original documents.

In order to hold a System Registry account for a registered person, you must be a fit and proper person . Find out more about fit and proper person requirements.

Fit and proper person test

Some System Registry accounts have fees. To pay these, you can:

● log in to your Online Services account

● select the 'finance' menu heading

● select the 'fees' menu item

● select the fee items you want to pay

● select the 'create payment advice' button.

A payment advice will be created. You can view the payment advice and pay using one of the methods specified.
