A guide to the PyCCS method

This guide provides an introduction to conducting a project under the BidCarbon (Pyrogenic Carbon Capture and Storage in Agricultural Systems) Methodology and Data Asset (the PyCCS Method). The PyCCS Method sets out the requirements for conducting activities under the BidCarbon Standard to earn BidCarbon Units.
Together, these guides will help you understand what is involved in conducting a BidCarbon Standard project from start to finish. The guides are complementary to the BidCarbon (Carbon Farming) Standard 2025 (the Carbon Farming Standard), the BidCarbon (Carbon Farming) Rule 2025, approved methods and their explanatory statements, but do not replace them. They have been prepared by the Technical Governance Committee.
